With January already behind us, it amazes me to see how quickly time passes. Fortunately, for option traders, time passing equals time decay in the options we sell. Our last spread trade in Google looks as though it’s going to be a home run. I’m sure I will be able to find another good trade candidate like the one we had in the credit put spread but I don’t want to load up on too many positions just before options expiration. Once we have had a chance to take some profits on the existing positions I will add more to our portfolio. The key thing to remember is that we have to stick with our risk management discipline in order to limit loss to our accounts.
