Apple stock pulled back to fill the gap just like we expected it to, so now is the time to complete the calendar put spread that we initiated yesterday. If you have been following along with this trade then you should already be long the Jan 2014 570 puts. Our goal was to wait for the stock to sell off and fill the gap before selling the February 525 puts. This allow us to leg in to the trade and collect a much higher premium on the trade in order to pay down the cost basis of the leap puts we own.
