The above chart was a snapshot of UUP and CCL the day I sent out the alert for the pairs trade on May 24th. The strategy was to short the US Dollar through UUP and simultaneously buy Carnival Corp. (CCL). Once the lines converged we would buy back our short position in UUP, sell the CCL shares and walk away with a profit.
